Follow these simple steps to wash, dry and store your gloves correctly.
Step 1: Check the Care Instructions
Before washing your gloves, check the manufacturer’s care label or instructions. Different materials may require different treatment.
Unless the instructions say otherwise, hand washing is generally the safest and most controlled option.
Step 2: Use Lukewarm Water
Fill a clean bowl or sink with lukewarm water. Avoid very hot water because excessive heat may affect the glove materials.
You can use a goalkeeper glove cleaner or a small amount of gentle soap if it is suitable for the gloves. Avoid bleach and harsh household cleaning products.
Step 3: Clean the Gloves Gently
Put the gloves on your hands and wet them carefully. Gently rub the palms and backhands using your fingers.
Pay attention to areas where mud and dirt have collected, but do not scrub aggressively. Rough cleaning may damage the surface.
