REACT goalkeeper training gloves weigh approximately 8 to 20 oz (227 to 567 g) per glove, or 16 to 40 oz (454 to 1,134 g) per pair, depending on glove size. REACT uses size-calibrated resistance, meaning smaller glove sizes carry less integrated resistance and resistance increases with glove size. REACT should be introduced according to the RepFlex Goalkeeper Training Protocol, beginning with shorter periods within familiar goalkeeper training and increasing exposure as the keeper adapts. Individual readiness, movement quality, and technical execution should guide progression.
DO REACT YOUTH GOALKEEPER TRAINING GLOVES HAVE FINGER SAVES?
No. REACT youth goalkeeper training gloves do not use traditional rigid finger-save inserts. RFX-6™ CORE extends throughout the fingers, adding flexible support while allowing natural finger articulation and helping challenge the grip and finger strength involved in catching and controlling the ball. Traditional finger saves can restrict natural finger flexion and change how the hand moves through catching actions. Goalkeepers who prefer additional finger support can use goalkeeper finger tape as needed.
WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR IN YOUTH GOALKEEPER MATCH GLOVES?
Youth goalkeeper match gloves should provide high-quality grip, a secure and comfortable fit, natural hand movement, and responsive ball control. Proper goalkeeper glove care helps preserve grip, materials, and performance throughout the life of the gloves.After use, clean RepFlex youth goalkeeper gloves with lukewarm water, gently remove dirt from the palms, and allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat and sunlight.
