RFX-6™ CORE CHANGES WHAT GLOVES CAN DO

RFX-6™ CORE is the resistance engine inside RepFlex patent-pending goalkeeper training gloves. It is a soft, flexible weighted matrix integrated through the backhand, fingers, and wrist to add controlled resistance through real goalkeeper movement.

RFX-6™ CORE integrates resistance directly into the goalkeeper glove, increasing the demand of the movements goalkeepers already perform in training. Because the resistance moves with the hand, REACT can be used through catches, punches, dives, recoveries, distribution, and other goalkeeper-specific actions without separating physical development from technical training.

RFX-6™ CORE is integrated across the full glove backhand, throughout the fingers, and into the 360° circumferential wrist. Its soft, flexible weighted matrix distributes resistance across the glove rather than concentrating it in one area, while full backhand padding provides coverage across the hand. The 360° wrist construction provides additional wrist stability compared with conventional goalkeeper gloves, while the flexible design preserves natural flex, balance, and hand articulation through goalkeeper-specific movement.

RFX-6™ CORE is size-calibrated so the amount of integrated resistance increases with glove size. Smaller REACT gloves carry less resistance, while larger sizes progressively carry more, helping scale training demand across different goalkeeper sizes and stages of development. This avoids applying the same resistance across every keeper while maintaining the same free-motion design throughout the REACT range.

REACT goalkeeper training gloves weigh between 8 to 20 oz (227 to 567 g) per glove, or 16 to 40 oz (454 to 1,134 g) per pair, depending on glove size. The resistance is size-calibrated, meaning smaller glove sizes carry less integrated resistance and resistance increases with glove size.

No. RFX-6™ CORE is engineered to add resistance without restricting natural hand movement. Its soft, flexible weighted matrix flexes with the glove, allowing the hand and fingers to open, close, flex, and articulate naturally through goalkeeper-specific actions. Distributed resistance across the backhand, fingers, and 360° wrist helps maintain balance and full mobility while increasing the physical demand of movement.

RFX-6™ CORE gives REACT goalkeeper training gloves their integrated resistance, increasing the demand within the goalkeeper-specific movements keepers already perform. Training with REACT targets six performance adaptations: explosive reactions, stopping power, catching mechanics, kinetic strength, movement control, and performance endurance.

No. REACT goalkeeper training gloves integrate the free-motion resistance directly into the goalkeeper-specific work keepers already perform, so the training itself does not need to change. Goalkeepers can use REACT through handling, footwork, diving, shot stopping, reactions, recoveries, distribution, and other familiar goalkeeper training while RFX-6™ CORE increases the demand from inside the glove.

RepFlex REACT weighted goalkeeper training gloves are designed for progressive use according to the recommended Goalkeeper Resistance Training Protocol. REACT uses size-calibrated, distributed resistance designed to increase training demand while preserving natural goalkeeper movement, full mobility, natural hand articulation, and technical execution. Exposure should begin gradually and progress based on individual readiness, adaptation, and movement quality. The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) supports properly designed and supervised youth resistance training and emphasizes appropriate instruction, progression, and program design.

REACT should be introduced through shorter periods of resistance exposure during familiar goalkeeper training before progressing duration, intensity, and drill complexity as the keeper adapts. The resistance inside each glove remains fixed, while training exposure progresses over time. Movement quality and clean technical execution should guide progression. Follow the RepFlex Goalkeeper Resistance Training Protocol for the complete progression framework.
